At Ambita (Swadeshi Glamour), we work closely with local artisans to bring you unique, handcrafted products. We want you to love your purchase, but if you need to return or exchange an item, please read our guidelines carefully.

1. RETURN & EXCHANGE TIMELINE

  • 7-Day Window: Any return or exchange request must be notified to us within 7 days of receiving the product. Requests received after this window will not be eligible for processing.

2. ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS

To qualify for a return or exchange, items must strictly meet the following criteria:

  • The product must be unused, unwashed, unaltered, and in the exact same condition as received.

  • All original product tags and packaging must remain completely intact.

  • Handcrafted Variation Disclaimer: As most of our products are handmade by local artisans, slight variations in design or weaving may occur. This is a mark of uniqueness, not a defect.

  • Clearance / Sale items: Discounted products and items purchased from a clearance sale are generally not applicable for return or exchange. Clearance products may contain minor structural variations or slight defects.

3. EXCLUDED PRODUCTS (NON-RETURNABLE)

The following categories are strictly not eligible for return, exchange, or store credit:

  • Pre-Order Products

  • Customized Styles / Made-to-Order Outfits

  • Stitched Blouses

  • Accessories

4. HOW TO INITIATE A RETURN OR EXCHANGE

You can process your request through any of the following methods within 7 days of delivery:

  1. Online Form: Escalate your request by filling out the digital Return/Exchange Form available in the App or Website dashboard.

  2. Customer Care Support: Call or WhatsApp our support team directly at +91 8279650320.

  3. In-Store Return: You can walk into our nearest physical retail store within 7 days of receipt to process an exchange.

⚠️ Important Note: If you purchased a Swadeshi Glamour product from a 3rd-party platform or an external retail storefront, your return/exchange inquiries must be handled directly through that specific retailer.

5. SHIPPING COSTS & REJECTED RETURNS

  • Shipping Fee: A non-refundable return shipping and handling cost of INR 150/- must be borne entirely by the customer for processing returns.

  • Non-Compliance Clause: Any returned item received by our warehouse that does not meet the eligibility criteria (e.g., missing tags, signs of wear) will be rejected. The item will be sent back to you at your expense, and no credit amount will be issued.

6. CREDIT NOTES & HOW TO USE THEM

We do not issue direct monetary bank refunds. Instead, we issue a secure Store Credit Note.

Issuance:

  • Once your returned goods are received and successfully processed by our quality check team, a credit note code for the product amount (minus the INR 150/- shipping cost adjustment) will be sent to you via email or text message within one week.

  • Validity: Your store credit note is valid and can be utilized anytime within 3 months from the date of issue.

How to Redeem Your Credit Note:

  1. Select your new products on our app or website and proceed to the checkout page.

  2. Locate the “COUPON CODE” / “DISCOUNT CODE” section.

  3. Paste your unique Credit Note Code and click “APPLY”.

  4. The cart total will immediately reflect the deduction.
